Review of Accepted (2006) by Juan I — 31 Jul 2010
A story about a guy who isn't accepted into any college in the whole nation. Very original in my opinion, 'Accepted' has to be a tale that nearly every senior in high school understands all too well. The pressure of getting into a future school. I should know I've been there before. The film over all is very memorable with a small moral of what education is "suppose" to be like. To be honest I think this is the first time I saw a movie with Jonah Hill and he's a great actor now. Justin Long and Blake Lively are truly believable actors in their own rights, same with Columbus Short and Maria Thayer. If it weren't for the deeper meaning of the story I would have sold this movie long ago mainly because of the performance by Adam Herschman. He is one actor I'm glad I don't see to much of these days. Seriously how can you mess up playing an idiot? If you haven't seen this movie I totally would say watch it once. =).
