It amazes me how absurdly unrealistic this movie is. I mean I usually don't mind a little artificiality in my movies but this is just ridiculous. Did these kids never consider going to community college, or maybe online college? It just bothered me that they didn't get in anywhere (and one character even had the audacity to ONLY apply to Yale, yeah really thats a great plan).
Its little things like that that outweigh the mild laughs that are scattered throughout the film. The unlikable characters don't help much either. Its a pretty disposable movie with a handful of laughs and a semi original (though very silly and implausible) premise.
I just didn't like the movie, its just too hard to believe, even for me.
