Review of Absentia (2011) by Patrick L — 12 Aug 2012
This Mike Flanagan have written, directed and edited an horror quite different from the others... even if it's not really scary we could say that is tense and often it makes you angry. Angry because there are so many holes in the story.
.. ok it's not real, but why doesn't Callie think to talk with Walter's son? just to make an example... and what about the end? I can understand that it's difficult to find a rational ending for such a story, but like this it's not fair! and why the disappered people keep on saying "you can see me", that is never explained.
.. oh I have so much questions about it but maybe that's the good side of it!
