Review of Absentia (2011) by Amir M — 28 Aug 2014
Always willing to give Doug Jones a shot, but this film has weak acting (amateurishly poor) and is reliant on an "otherworldly" soundtrack which sounds like Trent Reznor's 'Quake' soundtrack mashed up with an episode of Chris Morris' 'Jam' and coming across as a juvenile, try hard effort with all of the visual tropes of a horror but none of the substance.
