Review of Absentia (2011) by Jimmi S — 21 Apr 2013
Very well crafted. Some legends are warnings. Some things beyond our scope of what we can see may be real. Speration and loss from someone who vanished brings its own horrors of guilt, speculation, the torture of hope and never really knowing.
Well drawn with real people playing real, flawed people. I love how it isn't a glossy CGI fest with pretty igenues and handsome boys. Thes elook like your neighbors, the people down the street. That makes this more real.
