This works BECAUSE it takes such a serious tone! Leaving outrage about the handling of Gettysburg aside, I totally bought into this quiet, determined axe-wielding version of our beloved 16th president, Abe Lincoln.
This has become a movie I will watch every time it's on. Loved it!!
