I'm not a hundred pecent sure but I think this is what they call a "tour de force". With a film like this the elegance is in the simplicity. Spending time with Warren Schmidt is fun and entertaining but it can also be sad.
I won't say depressing. That's not the fllm maker's intention. Despite all the negativity presented I feel the message it conveys is a bit of hope. Sounds cheesy, I know. Well, it just has to be seen to be believed.
About Schmidt succeeds where it needs to, poweful in its subtlety.
