Well, I guess nobody could have performed the role of Warren Schmidt better than Jack Nicholson does. The movie itself is a well-written drama with some comedy and the story is actually quite decent. And certainly not a regular Hollywood movie.
Nicholson is obviously just great but also the rest of the cast do good work. Also, Alexander Payne has a good touch of portraying the characters in a realistic way and even if some might say the movie has a slow pace, still it's really intense and enjoyable.
Quite recommendable, especially for Jack Nicholson fans.
