Review of About Last Night (2014) by Jay D — 25 May 2014

Considering that this is a film remake of a film remake of a stage play - this movie is surprisingly very entertaining from the opening seconds to the last scene! Here's the obvious question: is taking a well known 80s movie and modernizing it, while ALSO changing the original cast ethnicity a good idea? I was skeptical too but the answer is YES! Kevin Hart and Regina Hall TOTALLY OWN this movie from start to finish! Don't get me wrong, the rest of the cast is solid, but really, everything else in the movie revolves around Kevin and Regina working their comedic magic :D I've seen most Kevin Hart material and he is on his A+ game in this movie! Be ready to laugh a LOT! I actually watched it twice because I missed a lot of rapid-fire jokes the first time around :P.
