Review of Abduction (2011) by Cheri H — 16 May 2012

As it turns out, this film is not actually about a kid that has even been abducted! The website is a trap to get the kid out of hiding and make him BELIEVE he'd been abducted. If this was more like a Criminal Minds episode, and he actually had been abducted and was running around trying to understand why, it would've been a MUCH better plot! But this business about him being a target because his father he's never met is a successful hit man?

I mostly watched this film just to see if Lautner could act and, as I deduced from the previews, he can't. I respect Weaver, Mulroney, and Molina all a little bit less for having taken part in such a sub-par product.
