Review of Abduction (2011) by Catie N — 08 Jan 2013
The concept of the movie was interesting. The protagonist finds himself on a missing person's website, and tries to find out who his real parents are. Then we found out that it may have been a ploy, that one character might be in on it, but she's one of the good guys, but are they really the good guys? I don't know, it just wasn't the best movie.
Personally, the fact that these are high school students really downplays the believability factor of the entire movie. I think Taylor Lautner might be stuck in "Jacob" mode, even though he wasn't terrible.
Really, ultimately, when Sigourney Weaver, one of the most bad-ass women in movies, says, "I hate balloons," you might be in trouble.
