Review of Aamir (2008) by Ah J — 08 Jul 2008
Rajeev Khandelwal...a great find in Bollywood! No overacting on his part...he portrays the man-next-door in distress well. The pacing of this movie was perfect, it keeps u at the edge of yr seat thruout.
And the climax which you would never expect makes u think abit...r those ppl we read all the time about being accused of suicide-bombing and terrorism, r really doing it because of their personal ideals or r just being mere pawns of some mega chessmaster holding onto puppet-strings? This movie is definitely raw, makes u think, has NO FELL GOOD thing to it and no commercial element u expect from Indian cinema.
But it hits u hard, and its unique. Easily the best for this year and I hope they keep up this trend.
