I would generally try and avoid sensationalist comments when reviewing a movie, but this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Nothing about it worked; from the poor casting, to the poor storytelling, to the poor directing, this was an absolute disaster.

Even the visuals and graphics, facets that could have impressed, fall flat for the most part. It's not a great adaptation of a great children's book, and in a world where movies made for children equally entertain adults, this film fails spectacularly.
