Review of A Wrinkle in Time (2018) by Nastolfi — 12 Mar 2018
There is no excuse for a movie with a $100 million budget to be this bad. It was really disappointing. The pacing is terrible. The actors are terrible. The script is terrible. The only upside, IMO, was the hair/makeup/costumes, which were beautiful.
Even that was kind of annoying, because it was obvious that all time, energy and money was put into that aspect and almost no attention was given to character development. The script is embarrassingly bad.
I can't remember any other movie that I seriously considered walking out of. I drug my 14 yr old son to see this movie because I really enjoyed reading the book when I was younger. I apologized to him multiple times throughout the movie, but at least we were able to laugh our way through it.
Please, don't waste your money on this one.
