Though beautifully costumed, and with gorgeous "set" design, unfortunately it does not serve to tell this epic story above the level of dull. Plot and action are mostly skimmed over for dialogue a child could have written, and an excess of examining the feelings and emotions of the main character that are fully understood within the first 10 minutes.
Disappointing.
