Review of A Woman Under the Influence (1974) by Beau M — 06 Jun 2007
One of the most emotionally trying experiences I've ever had watching a film. This is a film that wrestles with itself, with its own emotions and foundations, and comes out on top. The relationship between Peter Falk and Gena Rowlands is as passionate and disturbed as any displayed in cinema, and their performances match the quality step for step.
Astonishing.
