Review of A Woman Under the Influence (1974) by Jonathan M — 21 Apr 2009
One of the most awkward films I've seen. Totally lives up to the hype about the quality of the acting, which offsets some of the off-putting elements. For example, there are some bizarre music choices from the classical singing, which really cut into the 'authenticity' fetish, to the kazoo end credit music that felt totally inappropriate.
