I withdraw my previous rating of 5 stars. I watched this movie again and decided to actually judge it based on qualities other than how absolutely gorgeous Shane West is.
And well I realized that.....it's pretty awful. While it is a very moving film, the character development feels tacky and unnatural. I do like the storyline, but the exchanges between characters don't allow relationships to form believably. So, in conclusion, it is not a quality movie but it is an adequate chick flick. It makes you cry and wish that Shane West was your boyfriend. Mission accomplished.
