Review of A Walk in the Woods (2015) by Ivy K — 28 Apr 2017
I wanted this to dig deeper than it did and accomplish more profound. There was some, but it was a little superficial and not as fleshed out as I wanted it to be. The acting was genuine, as was the humor, and as a whole it was cute and enjoyable and I feel good about it, I just really did want it to be deeper.
Maybe some part of me wanted it to be The Way, which it wasn't. Incredibly beautiful scenery.
