Review of A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) by Griffin M — 09 Oct 2014
Even though he's playing a washed-up private investigator, this is probably Liam Neeson's most inspired performance in a couple years. He and director Scott Frank save the screen adaptation of Lawrence Block's detective story from blandness by treating it as somewhat of a horror movie, with two demented antagonists and an eery atmosphere to fit the book's narrative.
Really, really well done film.
