Review of A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) by Robert A — 01 Jan 2018
Liam Neeson must be worth a fortune by now. He really is the go to guy for this kind of al.almost straight to Netflix stuff. I can see why. Always puts in a good shift and gives even a mediocre role a bit of polish.
For me, he occupies a kind of acting hinterland somewhere between Denzel Washington and Pierce Brosnan, the former A lister who now just turns in a reliable performance. He was, after all the guy who went toe to toe with Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List and I can't see Fiennes turning up for something like this anytime soon.
Still, it's good stuff to fill a couple of hours and is better, I think than the Taken films. Good old Liam. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
