Review of A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) by David D — 08 Nov 2015
Forget the long line of "Taken" ripoffs. If Liam Neeson made a truly good crime thriller, it's this one. "A Walk Among the Tombstones" doesn't entirely overcome its crime thriller trappings (the plot is a little less than formulaic), but writer/director Scott Frank knows all about mood and atmosphere, which he gives you plenty of as well the appropriately violent subject matter.
This is Liam Neeson's best work since "Taken", and he is accompanied by the incredibly talented new guy on the block Dan Stevens. See this one.
