Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Terrence N — 29 Jun 2009
Roger Moore is ancient, his eyebrows never age. Basically what we've got here is runoff from Goldfinger with a terrible Duran Duran song in the credits (nobody touches Carly Simon) and a director who obviously didn't know anything about film that somehow turned out to be an enjoyable romp.
Grace Jones is scary but she aroused me as a young child when I first saw this and even more so today. My heart smiled when I saw Dolph Lundgren in a short cameo and my genitals exploded when I learned he dated her at the time.
What I would pay for those videos. Christopher Walken doesn't have much to do in this one and just basically stands around. Moore is lovable as Bond and even though he's old as fuck you can't help but enjoy what he brought to the series.
Things just happen in this one, no cohesion or care but it still amounts to an enjoyable experience for me. When Bond was fun.
