Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Mike H — 19 Jan 2009
Christopher Walken as a Bond super-villian. Oustanding! An appearance by Patrick Macnee from THE AVENGERS TV series. Great! Roger Moore as a tired, worn-out, disinterest James Bond. Not so great. No wonder we were all pulling for Timothy Dalton.
The theme song is from 1980s British postpunk New Wave pop sensations Duran Duran. In the day, I prefered metal but have to admit, in retrospect, that a lot of the songs on Rio (1983) were very catchy.
But this was two years after Rio and Duran Duran had become somewhat redundant.
