The story overwhelms and enthralls audience with its intricate plot. It is an unfolding mystery, a beautiful romance that belnds very smoothly and naturally with the chaotic combat scenes.
Audrey Tautou delivers an expressive and spellbinding performance in a child-like heroine who resorts to magical thinking and whispers test whilst in fervent search of her fiance with a will of steel.
It is undeniably a long movie, but there's not a single dull moment in the entire thing!
My favorite part is definitely the ending, which is so mesmerizing and paralyzing.
But it would be somewhat difficult to follow and understand why I am so pleased and satisfied with this movie if one has a short memory span regarding character names as at the very beginning of the movie, it throws out a lot of names which can be very confusing, especially they're French names.
