Review of A Very Long Engagement (2004) by Kaan K — 25 Jun 2009
This film was amazing. Despite being very long and requiring that I read French subtitles, the visual aspects and acting in the film were on par with films such as The English Patient. The scenes at the lighthouse were breathtaking and Tautou's performance as a young woman with polio was phenomenal.
The plot was also very heartfelt, creative, and intriguing.
