It's amazing study of war that is not stripped of it's horror even through Jeunets candy eye for colour and beautiful scenery - but shows the other side of why it's so horribly wrong. Audrey Tautou does amazing job but so does the whole cast.
Watching this on blu-ray DOES make a huge difference so don't settle for less if possible.
