Review of A Very Long Engagement (2004) by Gwathdring A — 24 Nov 2014
It has the customary touches of a Jeunet film, and it is my favorite of his works. The shots are gorgeous, the performances match the tone of the imagery perfectly, the soundtrack is glorious, and the storytelling takes a very simple story of enduring love and tells it with an incredible invention.
