This lovely story is very much a fairytale that follows all the expected cues until the happy ending.

In reality, this is the British Empire, Bechuanaland Protectorate (now Botswana) and South Africa -- hardly territory for such a cute, compact saga. What really happened?

Roles are will cast and beautifully played, but it felt false and golden.
