Review of A Thief in the Night (1972) by Christopher S — 23 Oct 2008
Really cheesy Christian propaganda film is incredibly dated, over-dramatic, and blatantly preachy - and is entertaining for all of those reasons, though not quite as lurid as its cult reputation. The ending in particular gets bogged down in a very repetitive chase scene.
Shot in Iowa with a nonprofessional cast/crew, but its surprisingly competently made considered how unbelievably low budget it is.
