Review of A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) by Nate A — 21 Feb 2010
There are really two movies here, when it should have been one. All the supernatural nonsense should have been left at the door. All it does is provide a few cheap scares, and muddies up what is already a pretty confusing plot.
The rest would have been more than enough to sustain a quality and suspenseful film. As it is, it's still a pretty effective story. The ending in particular packs quite the emotional wallop. The score is fantastic too.
