Review of A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) by Edgar C — 22 Apr 2010
Remarkably formulaic, but it has the right to be called one of the scariest movies ever made... literally. The experience in the cinema was unforgettable. Some clichés are intentionally used in an effective way and some others are kicked out of the house. Ji-woon Kim is aware that what we need sometimes are some good heart attacks throughout, adding thought-provoking drama in the process, but when a film is different and tries to stand out, it shows. A good horror film.
78/100.
