Beautifully shot and insanely creepy. This movie challenges the viewer to pay attention, and it succeeds as one of the best Asian horror films of all time. Save yourself the money and time, and don't even bother watching "The Uninvited," the remake of this movie.

The original isn't simply about scaring the viewer, although it definitely succeeds. The music, the atmosphere, the shots of the girls by the lake are all beautiful yet haunting. The tension between the three women in the movie is daunting, and the deterioration psychologically of the characters is so interesting to watch, so go ahead and watch it if you haven't already!
