Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Urmimala R — 14 Aug 2009

So much has already been said about this movie, and I don't want to make any n00b comments to ruin the reviews. I just want to say that, after watching this I've realised - they don't make movies like they used to!!

My first (I think) b/w movie that I've watched, but not my last. Its been so long since I've wanted to watch such classics, the sources/inspirations to so many greats and movie quotes.

I liked this one, all of it. The mood, setting, drama and emotions, the old-time acting. Good 2 hours spent :).
