This is a film that needs to be given a chance. The plot line is a bit strange... but the half of the film is absolutely powerful. The acting in A Streetcar Named Desire is SUPERB, plain and simple. It is easy to see why this film was rated highly on the AFI top 100 list of best all-time films.
