Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Eddie M — 28 Dec 2010
A engrossing drama. Beutifully portrays life and love in the lower class as well as the dangerous conflictions that fill Blanche's mind. Wonderful performances by all, especially Brando. Second only to Kazan's "On the Waterfront".
