Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Brad S — 03 Aug 2014

I've never been the biggest fan of this play, or film, but it's impossible to deny the power of Brando's performance, and excellent direction from Elia Kazan. The story just doesn't work for me and I'm not a big fan of Leigh's work, though she won an Oscar.

I did like the look of the film, and the score, and enjoyed seeing it again on Blu-ray. This is a MUST see for any cinema lover and I say watch it and decide for yourself.
