Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Kacy H — 22 Oct 2009
This film is visually stunning and definitely a classic. The actors are wonderfully over dramatic in parts but this funnily enough only adds to its Southern charm. The story is at turns twisted, dark and very intense and the actors carry it off beautifully.
Hats off to Tennessee Williams for this jewel of a film.
