Review of A Street Cat Named Bob (2016) by Jon%20 O — 22 Oct 2017
This a surprisingly watchable film. It's remarkable for Bob's performance yet its not too sentimental. As its about the relationship with the cat I don't think more emphasis on the drug addiction would help and I thought there was just enough feeling of insecurity in the homelessness and difficulty of making it out of the addictive roundabout.
Its nice to see a feelgood movie with a happy ending for once, and its based on a real story. You'd have to have a heart made of concrete not to feel moved by it.
