I think Bradley Cooper did a hell of a job with this both in acting and directing. I am not a huge fan of Lady Gaga but she was really great in this movie. Talented. Unfortunately the movie didn't stay with me very long.
Still- It's great to see Sam Elliot prove that he is one of the best actors working today, and let's face it- the Diceman has always been a decent actor in anything he's ever done. It's no mistake that Woody Allen used him in Blue Jasmine.
I wish he had more scenes- he would have pulled them off.
