Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Ryan F — 08 Oct 2018
Admittedly, I was unbelievably skeptical of this film when I first saw the previews. I am usually not at all a fan of remakes and when a movie has been made as many times as this one, it's not usually very good.
But I was surprised that this movie was an effective telling of the story. What made it for me was actually Lady Gaga's performance. She worked well with Bradley Cooper and to be honest, I liked her performance better than Cooper's.
In the end I was surprised and I liked this movie much better than I thought I would.
