Review of A Star Is Born (1954) by Chris E — 28 May 2010
It's always fun to hear Judy Garland sing, but that aside the story annoyed me halfway through. Then, it had that ridiculously depressing ending. It's sad to see potentially likeable stars fall to nothing, even if it's "just a movie".
I watched it because Gilmore Girls told me it would help. Other than being almost 3 hours worth of distracting movie watching, I can't really figure out it's purposefulness....oh except: Don't marry a drunk AND.
..Lipstick writing apparently stays on walls for years and years and years without a problem! Why am I being so scathing?
