Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Drew H — 22 Apr 2008
An underrated and under-seen movie from Sam Raimi. This film is easily his finest work. In the same vein as Fargo; ordinary people thrown into unforeseen and frightening situations because of either greed or people not sticking to a plan.
The development and revelations made by many characters were quite surprising and relieving. Enjoyable performances all around. Still need to read the book to compare.
