Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Iain K — 22 Sep 2012
It's quite clear from the outset of this thriler what will happen: people will die where there's money involved. Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton are competent in their roles as brothers who inadvertently discover over $4 million in a crashed airplane and Sam Raimi's direction greatly benefits the white-washed look of the film, A Simple Plan is just that: too simple, single-minded and easily forgettable.
