Review of A Simple Favor (2018) by Steven B — 08 Oct 2018
This one took me by surprise. Not sure what I expected but not this very good and very different movie. I thought early on that the comedic atmosphere would get darker, and it did, but still with a sense of humor.
The movie is mostly Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively and they are terrific but watch some of the support roles as they are very good. I lost track of the twists and turns in the story but that is the fun of it.
I may go again.
