Review of A Shot in the Dark (1964) by Adam T — 02 Jun 2007
OMG! I LOVE this movie! I think this came out before the Pink Panther. Just like all Henry Mancini's works, the theme tune is amazing. I remember watching this with my sister, and the one scene which bought made us laugh so hard we ended up crying was when Chief Inspector Dreyfus is cutting cigars with a small guillotine.
We see him cutting them and discussing Clousseau. It then zooms onto his face, we hear a slicing noise, Dreyfus winces and then calmly says to Takar "could you call a doctor please, I seem to have cut off my thumb".
:D.
