Review of A Shot in the Dark (1964) by Rick Q — 24 May 2012
Comedy is rarely ever as brilliant as it is in blake edwards' "a shot in the dark". this is a rare case, especially in comedies, where the sequel is even better than the original. peter sellers is a master at making scenes way more awkward than they need to be, without having it feel forced.
"a shot in the dark" has so many one liners and gags, it will keep you laughing from start to finish. this is as brilliant as comedy can get, and at a level everyone should strive for.
