Review of A Shot in the Dark (1964) by Blind P — 06 Jul 2008
An Unreasonable Man did a good job of presenting alternate viewpoints on the personality and social impact of Ralph Nader, and if one side seemed more dulcetly reasonable and the other more histrionically denunciatory in comparision, then so be their segments editing choices.
I think a person would go out of it with the same general attitude as they brought in, but there again a balanced approach doesn't try to convince you of any opinion. Enough information is presented to make it a good look at US electoral process.

I read somewhere that A Shot In The Dark was the best Pink Panther film among the collection. If so, then I have no need to see any others. I could hardly wait for this one to finish, but paid it enough respect to watch its entirety.
I don't like slapstick physical comedy of this nature. I take my physical comedy out of film violence, am not amused by a door knocking a man into a fountain or over a balcony ledge.
Not to say the flick isn't a good example of this type of presentation. But enough becomes enough after 30 minutes, and no one joke stands out as being classically funny.
