Review of A Short Film About Killing (1988) by Sion M — 07 Oct 2007
Taken from Kieslowski Dekalog series, this is an extened feature length film which holds to examination the 5th commandment Thou Shell Not Kill and places it the context of a Modern Society. With dark murky photography and the use of realism Kieslowski leaves you the viewer to make your own mind up on the brut realities he conveys.
Ultimately, this a thought provoking work achieved with authority craftsmanship. I love this film and would recommend it to anyone. Though it is not for the faint at heart.
