Review of A Short Film About Killing (1988) by Timothy S — 04 Jan 2008
I found this movie deep, powerful, chilling and confronting. It asks a simple but difficult question -- Is capital punishment wrong?
Shot in green/yellow/brown filter in the movie is one of most compelling use of cinematic imagine, and, indeed, has nakedly exposed the moral corruptions of communist regime in Poland.
Once again, I will take the idea of this film with me for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Mr. Kieslowski.
